The decision to have a baby is truly the most life-changing decision you ever make.  Many of us ‘find ourselves pregnant’ or take the approach ‘if it happens it happens’ or we struggle to conceive.  The sacred aspects of creating a new life – a miraculous event - is often not considered nor discussed openly.

On this day workshop participants will actively explore these aspects so that which needs to be attended to, to clear the pathway to parenthood, can be undertaken. These are the aspects which honour the preparation for conception; physical, emotional and spiritual and allow individuals to actively prepare for the sacred responsibility of parenthood with confidence and certainty.

For many of us the decision to have a family may involve talking about the financial aspects of how life may be with a baby, the impact on our job/career, implications of how our ‘leisure time’ may change, issues of childcare, whether our home is big enough to cope and so on.

The critical aspects of whether our bodies are ready to create a child; whether our chosen partner is truly someone who we are willing to co-create with, or if our heart’s desire is truly to have a child or exploring if we are really seeking something else to meet the need we feel are often never addressed.

Sacred Conception is open to both men and women.  Couples are very welcome but this is not exclusively a workshop for couples.

We are aware that for some the intimate nature of this work in a group setting is not appropriate. We can therefore offer individual healing sessions if necessary
